Saturday, June 12 – Sage Culinary Advice welcomes Chef Benny Yeomans to the downtown Portland Farmers Market. Chef Benny will stir up Springwater Farm’s Cream of Mushroom Soup, and other mushroom delights at the Springwater Farm stand. Chef Benny is a seasoned chef, and there are few that can hold a candle to him when it comes to speed and efficiency in the prep kitchen. Stop by and ask him your food prep questions.
Sunday June 13th – Chef Kathryn’s second demonstration this season as Hillsdale Farmers Market’s Resident Chef will kick off at 11am. The Way to Sauté will guide shoppers through the fundamentals of a basic sauté, then extend to pan sauces and pasta dishes stemming from these techniques. Chef Kathryn gives monthly culinary demonstrations at the Hillsdale Farmers Market, every second Sunday of the month.
